The blocks will go for either gender I would think. They look great.

I think they are beautiful, but that being said, my first thought when I pulled up the picture was the white looked like lace.

Dots are gender neutral IMHO. These are gorgeous blocks and would be loved by either one. Thank you for sharing.

Those block with dots are not to feminine! They remind me of outer space, planets and phases of the moon. Use them all you want. Like the pattern lots!

I need to clarify on the Fons and Porter instructions for the star block. Their website has 2 different 200 series shows. The Lucky Stars demo is in the series at the bottom of the list on the left side of the page. That group has only a 100 and a 200 series. It is episode #205 of that 200 series.

We only have sons...I have asked a couple of them about polka dots...they consider them "feminine"....stripes are considered more masculine around here:)

I think dots can be either gender, just use the right colors and it would look great.

these would make a great boy's quilt. I made a log cabin quilt in black & white prints (including dots), with red centers...my son (then 16) snagged it.
I say go for it! Where did you get this pattern? looks fun |
What girl doesn't love polka dots, very cute
