I have never seen a man wear a shirt with dots as the pattern unless he was gay.

The blocks are AWESOME - but in seeing them I thought Girl - sorry - but the pattern is awesome.

Love it! Looking at it makes me think of looking up at night and seeing stars all over.

I think it all depends on the colors. Your black/white/red is definitely a neutral and think it would be great for a boy!

think the Blue or Dark Green or lime green or A rust/brown color would be masculine, and the pink, aqua, shades of purple, yellow would be more feminine ... The dots kinda look like stars and outer space.. so even metallic silver works..

the pokadots (even spaced evensized) are more girl.....................the uneven dots (different sizes different shapes no apparent spacing) are gender neutral............to me they are all beautiful, fabric is an awsome palette

The black/white dots keeps it gender neutral. I think its when you go with colored backgrounds that the fabric becomes more gender oriented.

I really, really like the block and your choice of fabric design is stunning...sashing could make them less neutral depending on color choice.

Until your question I'd never thought of dots being feminine or masculine. I think sometimes I over think some things instead of just going for it? Not a criticism just pondering in my own thought processes.

I love it. Dots are gender neutral and will be loves by either party. Where did you find the pattern? I might like to make it!
