Quilt Jelly!!!!

That looks really cute!! I chuckle everytime I see your avatar b/c of your girl with the funny expression. Always makes me smile! The 3 of you are adorable :D

Thank you all. I heard about quilt jelly years ago. Enough years that I don't remember where I heard it. My jar is a half gallon mason jar. The dog ears in side have been collected for years. I started with a pint jar.
The girls in my avitar are my twins. They are 17, and starting their sr. in high school this week.

Yes, quilt jelly!

I used to save all my bunny ears until a few years ago. I used my empty coffee jars so that they all had the same jar and decorated my empty space on the shelves. There is no empty space anymore, so no more jars. I liked looking at the contents and remembering which quilt supplied which ears!

I love that jar. I do use mine for pillows too. My bulldog LOVES pillows, so I make her alot, They get gross after awhile, so I can toss them with out guilt!

I have a three drawer plastic chest. I keep very small snippets in one for pictures and landscapes. Medium size in another for PP and larger pieces in the third for odds and ends.

I saw a demo (somewhere) where the person made a block and sprinkled the little corners all over the fabric, covered it with tulle netting (or mesh, whatever you call it) and crazy stitched all over it and made a finished block that was really colorful. I was working with silvery material and I thought that I would try it - but, then I lost all the little scraps - don't ask me how - the gremlins got them.
