Gee whiz, is it really that hard to find? I thought I might give it a whirl since, (obviously because I don't currently own any!), I've never tried it.
I will be heading over to the USA next Thursday, so I will definitely scope out some stores for it, so if anyone has the "inside scoop" exactly where, do let me know!

Have you checked the grocery stores, that's where I buy mine or a craft store.

I get mine in grocery stores, too. Bed Bath and Beyond may have it - I don't know.

Hey folks I just found a place in Wisconsin that has different widths of freezer paper that they will ship ...

hope that this helps. for those overseas or in a different country contact them via this web site and ask them if they ship to you overseas or in a different country. (Also get your friends (quilting friends) together to buy in bulk..

I never thought of ULine ... we have it here in Canada and here's the link ....

However, most of us probably will not want to get 1100 feet of it!!

For those interested, the Ontario depot is in Mississauga just off 401+407+Mississauga Road and you can pick up at the warehouse. I've dealt with them and very interested in even the smallest of orders. Bonus ... if something is not what you want, you can return it within 30 days, no questions, and no return fees.

usually find my wax paper at the grocery store all though it has been awhile since I bought any.
By the time I finish using mine up I may need all the information on here for it.

I found mine at Wal-Mart. Right next to the foil and wax paper.

We have lots of starch in Canada but where I live it's only in aersol cans in grocery stores & WalMart. We also have lots of freezer paper in grocery stores, Canadian Tire etc. so I don't know what xsquilter is talking about. She lives in a large urban centre & I live in a community of only 45,000 people & we have lots of both.
Actually our local fabric store just got in a shipment of Mary Ellen's Best Press (non aerosol) so I am quite anxious to try it. It sells here for $23.00 for a 16 oz. bottle. I bought it at their 1/2 price sale & that's the only way I would buy it. I may even try & dilute it a little to see if that will make the cost more economical. With the cost of fabric etc. this quilting hobby that I love is getting to be very costly. Oh well, what do they say for some things "priceless".

Joann fabric has freezer paper on line for 8.99 for 30 sheets 8 1/2 x 11. I prefer to buy it in sheets what you find at the grocery store is on a roll and doesn't work as well for quilting. It's great if you do applique.

This is the recipe for Mary Ellens Best Press (I have not tried it read some good reviews )
2 cups distilled water
2 Oz's. vodka
2 drops of essential lavender oil.

If you try it
Let me know what you think.
