I have one also and never used it. If I could find it, I would send it to you free of charge.

I would buy it and I did. It's small and fast to use. The cut out slits are what I like about it.

Thank you to all who gave me advice. I like the fact that it is small and the slits are used to get the exact measurement. I tend to slip at times using my ruler when marking the 1/4''. At a cost of $4 or maybe less at Joanns , I will give this gadget a try. :)

I have one but have only used it a couple of times. If I had it do do over again I'd spend my money on something else.

It's for marking the corners so you get a nice mitered corner. The different sizes are for the different widths you may use. For example, I never make a 1/4" binding on my quilts. Mine are usually 3/8" or 1/2". I just like them a little wider. However, I usually just use a ruler.

I have one & never use it. All you have to do is stop 1/4" from the edge & you can measure that with any ruler.
|
I bought it, used it and like it very much...but now just use my eye for the corners. It was a big help in the beginning and am glad to have had it.

Have had a mitre tool for many years. Saw a video on Jenny Doan (sans mitre tool) and did the best binding on a small dog quilt. The mitre tool never was taken out of the package. LOL

It's another gadget I bought in my early stages of quilting, never used it. I just mark my edges and my bindings seem to come out fine. Sometimes I think these gadgets are developed just to get our money.

A friend of mine who is a long time quilter bought it and loves it. She has offered to loan it to me next time I am binding so I can check it out.
