Has anyone used Annies soft and stable for

bags and or purses? It sounds wonderful, I am wondering how long it looks nice in a bag that is being used and how easy it is to use. The information I read and the video I saw makes it look like really good stuff. I would have to order it at Joann's or her shop so need some input on it.

I haven't heard of it before. I guess I'll have to look it up. Sorry I'm no help

I used it for a purse and loved it. The purse stood up and no flopping. Plan to use it for all future bags and purses.

Haven't heard of it either. Have you look on Amazon for any reviews??

I used it in a bag I made just over a year ago. It is still looking great. It gives the bag a lot more structure than batting, and looks really professional. If you have to order it, Connecting Threads carries it at a good price. I ordered 3 more packages a few months ago when I had seen how well it was holding up!

Great Stuff...would not make a purse without it.

Missouri Star Quilt company had a daily special a few weeks ago for Bosal In-R Form Plus. I bought a package to see exactly what it was. It's fusible on both sides with foam in the middle, easy to sew through. Excellent product. Made is USA too.

I love it. I didn't want a fusible one. Pellon has a foam similar, but the Soft & Stable is actually a tad thinner, which I prefer in the seam allowances. It's very easy to work with. I usually use 3/8" to 1/2" seams and prefer to zigzag the edges to help reduce the bulk. I've been buying it on ebay. Bicwarehouse usually has good prices and free shipping.

Wow, thanks for all the help and info. I want to give it a try.

I love Soft and Stable. I have used it in the over 60 tote bags that I have made for family and friends. Quilting the bags with Soft and Stable is fun. For the handles, I use an iron-on interfacing though.
