Hi southernmema,
Looks like a good tool to have. Thanks for sharing. |
Making a large bargello by Derek Lockwood called "Disco"! Machine all cleaned frome previous huge job, strips cut and now ready to start sewing!
Love his designs! http://quiltinspiration.blogspot.com...of-dereck.html

What are cutting all those strips for?

Have both, love them. I use a ruler to lay out/line up where the cut will be, butt the slidelock up to the ruler, remove the ruler and then use the slide lock. I didn't think the clear one would show up so well on white fabric, so got the yellow pair. Best took I've ever purchased.

If you have used the slidelock to prevent ruler slipping, please let me know your opinions as to how successful (or not) they were. I'm looking at them because I have problems with accurate cutting and thought they might be helpful. Thanks.

I use the lines on my cutting board for the ruler and put the slidelock directly on the fabric. It makes cutting so much better for me. My cutting mat is accurate, so this works very well for me. I would not give it up.
