Maybe/maybe not I received alot of fabric when someone passed and she didn't sew or quilt just collected fabric and cut squares,I got a flat FULL of 4.5inch squares and ziplock bags of lots of other sizes, and the squares were cut with scissors.

Holy cow!!!! It looks like enough fabric to open two or three quilt shops! I hope it all finds really good homes.

Holy crap.....that's a lot of fabric. I can see from the quilts in the back that she made a lot of quilts.....but really what was she thinking??!!

A couple of years ago there was this lady in town who commited suicide and had just about the same thing. Fabric by the bolts, kits, rotary cutters, scissors, rulers, paints, yarns, every craft that you can think of, etc and not just one of something, she had at least a dozen or more of things. Sewing machines went for nothing. She had those expensive baskets and not just 1, but over 200!
If you've seen the show hoarders, this is what her house/garage and yard looked like. It was so very sad.

oh my god i would be in seventh heaven with all that fabric

Let's not be so quick to judge this lady. We don't know how and why she acquired so much fabric in what seems to have been a long life. The fact is she was a quilter and apparently loved doing it. I can think of a lot of other things she could have spent her money and time doing worst than fabric. At least her children can recoup money from something she enjoyed. How many people spend money on things that have absolutely no value to anyone but them. Hopefully some beautiful quilts and clothing will be made from these fabrics. I like to think she was smiling seeing all those people wanting what she had.
