I use the two sided stickey velcro tape one on my peddle and the other on the floor. That way they van't move just make sure to put the stickey side on the peddle first that way when you stick it to the flore they will both line up . It workd for me. I also used the good heavy velcro.

The lady with the heels is probably also in full make up and wearing her pearl necklace

I do have the second item pictured, and it does slip on lino floors. I am going to see if I can find one of those old mouse pads lying around, for free, before getting a bathroom mat. I also have that stuff you put under things to keep them from slipping, but I think it will just get wadded up.

I also put the pedal backwards when I sew. I feel like I have more control and less strain on my leg.

A friend of my recently suggested and old mouse pad, when it is grungy and you no longer want it on the top of the table put it on the floor and hold that foot pedal in place!

The only thing I have ever found to keep it from pushing away if to brace it up against something that doesn't move - like a big box of fabric!!

Hey! I gotta try that. I get so tired of having to "chase" my foot pedal!

Great idea.

I use the circular rubber jar openers, those for us with arthritis. I have one under each of my foot pedals on my hardwood floor in my sewing room. They don't go anywhere I don't want them to.

this is what I do and it works great, was easy to get used to pushing the peddle the other way.
