At least $10 - very cute, you did a great job on them!

I agree. That's a lot of work you put into it. Don't short change your talent!

I saw these at the LQS for $10. They didn't have a key ring. If the stores can sell for $10 you should get at least that much.

Thinking $8-10 would be a good price. If you make it too high people will not buy.

Certainly more than $4.

These are VERY nice. I think at least $10.00 would be a good price to charge for these wallets. Thanks for sharing your project with us!

The pattern used sew on snaps but I like the home spun look of buttons and I added a key ring. Do you think $4 is too much or not enough? What would you sell them for?

Rule of thumb for most part is charge for materials needed for it plus 3 to 5 times what the materials cost. So say materials cost $4 and you want to charge 3X the cost to the customer would be $12.00

You alone in the end must decide what you think your time is worth plus cost of materials.

Think about this.......if you charge too little, EVERYONE is going to want one, and you may get so that you just hate making them, and feel resentful. I would say, either give them as gifts to special people, or charge enough that you will feel it is worth it to you to do it. Hope that helps! C9P

thank you all so much for the advice, $10 they will be.

I make these and sell them for $10.00, If they really want them they will pay that.
