I have 3 of the bases i use for tables to put my sewing thing on, tool for my longarm ,one for my embroider tools, then my husband usehis for a table saw
|
I own several of the iron bases made into tables. One, I leave the "leaf" up, have a runner on it and use it as a console table with a small lamp and some antique jugs. I want to order a piece of marble for the top.
I always thought I would like to find two bases and use with large board with one base at each end for a kitchen table. I love them. |
I've seen tables made with these legs and they are great! Have fun with it!

Not at all. My father-in-law built a beautiful entry table from them. I'm hoping it will be mine someday.

Wish I could of found them that's what I've been wanting to do for a long time. Just consider it recycling,it's a good thing. Let me know what you decide..send pics

I have 2 that were made into tables...I also saw someone that only uses treadle sewing machine...she took several sets and made one huge work table for her sewing room with her different machines around the table...it was fantastic...made me go out and buy some more (a guy down the street was selling...he'd been using them as bases of his work tables as he remodeled his new to him home, when he didn't need them any longer as his house was finished...he'd found them in the basement when he bought the house so that's why he was selling them for only $10 so I bought all 4 of them!!! ...now to get the table top made and into my basement sewing cave)
