I'm sorry but I don't care for the border print with your pinwheels. I love both of them separate but not together. With that busy block, I'd do something solid.

I love it, just my style. Colorful, bright, a little wild but playful. It's good to walk on the wild side every now and again. I like to get out of my box or comfort zone and experiment with colors and fabrics.

It is never too wild unless you do not like it, then it is too wild. I think it is very cute! I like the blue border. It some how organizes it. Sorry I do not know another way to describe it. Oh I definitely like the cat border too. Without it doesn't seem finnished.

AlvaStitcher,
I love your bright and wild quilt! It looks like a quilt I would've made. I think the solid border gives the eye a place to rest. I make charity quilts too, it seems like the children just love wild and bright quilts.

The turquoise tries to pull them together, but it's not quite enough to have it work, in my opinion. I'd find something else for the border.

I really like the quilt top. I'd try to match that dark blue or dark purple in the print for the border (I'm assuming I'm seeing the correct color on my monitor). I sometimes will take my quilt to the store and try out different colors for the border.

I agree 100%. Love the Laurel Birch cat fabric but it does nothing for the quilt here.

Chem beat me to it - I also vote for a black & white stripe for binding. I love the wild and colorful look!

I realize its a charity quilt but I just don't like the border fabric, it is way too busy and does nothing for the quilt. I would just do a solid like fabric for the border.

What did you decide to do for a border (if you added one)?
