It's not a little package. I cannot find it anywhere. I remember putting the book and rulers in the bag and putting it in my sewing room. I have looked all morning for it.. :? This makes me feel so stumped and at a loss to how in the world did it just disappear. No one has been in the sewing room but me in weeks. I was all set to start making the pattern, I guess I will be deep cleaning my sewing room instead. :-(

You will soon get that "aha" moment :wink: :D:D:D

I lost a large antique spoon one day; searched high and low and figured I had left it at the shop I bought it at. About 6 months later, I was rummaging looking for something else and I found it still in the white sales sack! It will show up!

I do it way too often - yikes! You are not alone. When you have given up looking and/or bought new, you will find them. This is why I have three cameras.

I've gotten to the point where the object is right in front of me but I just can't see it. I think I am in that panicked mind set of it being gone and just don't see it there. :-(

Glad I'm not the only one that does that. I find stuff after I'm no longer interested in doing it. :D

since it's a book and rulers....it'd flat so make sure you look between your fabric sitting on your sewing table....I do this all the time.

You've probably moved it several times looking for it. I lost the ipod once for a couple weeks. Look absolutely every where it could have been.

I moved a stack of papers that I had checked several times and found it in between a couple envelopes.

So it will show up eventually. It's a like a puppy when you're trying to catch it, when you ignore it, it will come to you...well in this instance you'll stumble on it.

I searched for a magazine the other night - upside down on the coffee table in front of everyone - duh!

That's why I am redoing my sewing room. 7 cats couldn't find a single mouse in there the way it was.

Look behind everything. They may have fallen off.

That's why I seem to have a two of a lot of rulers and my flowerhead pins. Everytime I turn around something disappears (sigh)

the fastest way to find it is to buy new ones to replace what you lost! LOL works every time!

This happens to me everytime I clean my sewing room. i am better off leaving it messy.

It still hasn't shown up. I straighten up the clutter and decided to sew on a UFO. The rulers are bright yellow/green and stick out of the bag. I can't be that blind. LOL.

I am convinced there is a covert blackops govt organization whose sole mission in life is to make me think I am crazy by moving and hiding things I set down just a moment before. I am still looking for a hunk of fabric from almost two years ago I am firmly convinced I did NOT use up.

I bought a book and templates for the DWR quilt. (Not that I plan to make one anytime soon, mind you.) I've since moved and completely redone my sewing room. Still can't find where the heck I put the templates.

It will be in the last place you look.

I found my car keys there once! Came in from shopping and had to hurry and get the ice cream in the freezer...you know...hot day, 30 minutes in the car....popped the ice cream in the freezer and then spent HOURS looking for my keys and accusing my kids of losing them...found them when I went to dish up desert after dinner. :oops: :lol:

Bellaboo...go through your normal routine when you come into the house after shopping. What do you do? Where do you put your purse? Is there a chance that you had to do what so many of us do? (Make a run for the bathroom) Where MIGHT you have set down the package as you came in?

Check behind the table, cabinet, chest that you laid them on. That usually where I find stuff after they lose me.
