Looking forward to trying this, although wish I had read this thread yesterday before putting on binding!
|
Luckily I read this just in time and used the techniques in a lap quilt I finished. I couldn't believe how the ends came together without an exact 45 degree angle. Everything about it was easier!

How lucky for me to find your advice on binding and not pressing in order for the fabric to lay flatter when sewing.
I have just machine stitched the binding on my quilt to the front. Now I will turn it to the back and will be ready to hand stitch. Thanks, for your info. I will try it soon. copycat |
I will definitely try that! Good tip!

Will have to try this. My corners never look like I think they should!

I never thought of doing it this way. I'm getting ready to bind a small quilt, I'll have to try it this way. Thanks for the idea.

Really. . . I must try this idea.
|
Me also like to iron, especially others. Strange I know, must be they look different. I use to do this for my friends mom. Those were the days.

Great idea. Will try next time.

Now I know what I am doing wrong !! Thanks for the tip !
