I think 1/2 and 1/2 would look great.

I bet the baby will never know it was a goof if you do it that way. And mom will be so pleased you made the quilt for her baby and not care if she does know what happened. Take care.

I make scrappy bindings all the time & they look great. It will look like you planned it that way

I'm glad you found the right fabric to complete the quilt the way you had envisioned it. I really hate having to "compromise" on anything when I have a certain vision in mind.

Yup it will work. I've done it on purpose and by mistake ... looked great both ways.

I like the idea of half and half.

Just use the other fabric - if they say anything tell them "Oh, it is supposed to be that way"

I like pieced bindings, too. They add a new dimension to the finished quilt.
