I'm guilty too. I find the time restraints cause me to read the post and maybe scan a few and then post. Sorry

I agree with both sides of this discussion. Sometimes the obvious ignoreing of "the answer" within a few posts of the offending post gets to me, but I also think the person participating freely and without fear of being belittled is more important then answering the same question over again. Just my opinion. I know how it feels to be scared to ask because I will be ridiculed and I hope I never do that to anyone else.

I too, am guilty at times of posting before reading through alllll the reponses. I too don't have time many times to read through them all. My apologies too. :)

My annoyance is when I post a picture and in the initial post or in a post immediately below my 1st one, I say "here's where the pattern is from" with a link. Then get 20 posts that say "can you share the pattern?" I know it's a complement, but it's frustrating since it's right there and no one's reading it.

There have been so many great responses to this post. I was thinking too as I read along, and I did read them all, LOL, there are those lovely people who are very old, very young, disabled, and those from all wakes of life. Some of us read and it sinks it right away, others read and need more help than others. I am so glad those who responded on here understand. What is clear to some is not clear to others. To be a part of such a large board, we have to learn patience and understanding. This board has taught me that along with thousands of other great things.
So I also agree with others,,,,,,let's go sew and read. This thread did force me toread every post before I psoted again. ROFL. I go to quilt retreats and it's the same. lots of chatterers (is that even a word?)saying the same thing. GOtta love it.

I have NO qualms with anything on this board. I love it so much and all the people on it too. Every post that is made has some idea or information in it worth while. Love all of you, Mary
