Well, I had resolved to use up some of my stash in '10, but then I heard Wally World in W'chester was selling out of their fabric, and I could not resist the urge. So,...while I was there, I got two more empty tubs. And 2 pkg. of York Peppermint patties. Guess I'm set for a while.

I'll trade you the Peppermint patties for some scraps :) :) |
I've only been back to quilting for about 2 years. I started collecting fabric here and there and didn't think I had any solids. Well, they must have something going, as when I sorted all my fabric, I had 2 (old deep freezer basket) full of solids. I have gone to using up my stash, even it doesn't EXACTLY match. I'll never get sewn up all I have now. It is 60 miles to a decent fabric store. I'm 68 years old and do not like to drive that far by myself anymore. Silvia

My name is Elaine and I am a fabricaholic. Truth be told, those large tubs do help hold the floor down under normal conditions...and in major windstorms the added weight may keep the house on its foundation! ROFLMBO |
I have already admitted I have an addiction. It is a real hungry sort so I have to feed it often. As far as doing something about it, I do. I sew every day and shop as often as possible.

I confess to having lots in my stash, about 10 tubs worth plus a dresser, and still I buy both online and in shops. It's an obsession/addiction but I don't care. It's mine and I enjoy it. When I sorted my stash, I found so much I had forgotten I had even some "ugly" fabric that I's purchased twice plus some beautiful fabric that i ahd 3 different sixes of cuts in - my DD shook her head over the 3 different pieces of it. I even found stash fabric in my Xstitch stuff and in my pj drawer. Life goes on and so does fabric acquisition. :)

That sound like a good trade. Can't seem to sew without those pep patties. Oh well, one addiction deserves another.
