To pin you can do it one of two ways. You can go here: https://help.pinterest.com/entries/2...-Pin-It-button and follow the instructions to add the pin-it button to your browser. Or you can simply click on the + sign on the pinterest homepage (next to your username in the upper right), choose 'add from a website' and add the url manually.

Here's a link to my quilting board, "Quilty Goodness", on Pinterest. Maybe you'll see one of your quilts there!
http://pinterest.com/bonbonevans/quilty-goodness/ I also have knitting and crochet boards, if you are interested. You might find something you want to make! Pinterest is wonderful! |
Fun quilts you've pinned, I will follow it! Here is a link to my boards: http://pinterest.com/sallyjwalker/boards/
I am more than honored when I find one of my quilts pinned on Pinterest. I usually can't help myself, and make a comment, at least to say "thank you", and of course I always "like" the pin ...tee hee ;)

I was definitely honored, but I guess I never really thought about someone not liking it. I checked your pins out and what beautiful quilts. Fun way to pass the time just looking at quilts. |
I too just started pinterest. I have a lot to learn about it. But normally i like to go to the original site the picture came fom.

Maybe I just haven't run into the problem you're talking about. Even if I repin from the most current pinner, I still have to click all the way through to get to the original info, tutorial, or pattern. I usually do pin from the original, but I have repinned from others. If it's just a photo with no info, I can't see that it matters. In fact, I think I always pin tutorials rarely if ever do I pin a plain photo.

Here is mine :)
Http://pinterest.com/wendysquilts/boards I have people pinning some of mine as will. Its nice to see that they repin, but not sur if they say source on all of them. I think I typed that address correctly. :) |

Asked and answered - the post right before yours.
Hope this helps! :) I know how to pin. I just want to know how Pinterest works.... |
I enjoy Pinterest and I try to credit the origin if I know it. Sometimes, things have been repinned so many times, the origin gets lost in the shuffle. So if I have ever pinned something from someone on this board and not given correct credit, please let me know and I'll fix it right away!
