Ideally, it works by providing photo links to the original website from which the photo (and hopefully some text) originated. Realistically it isn't this way at all. Technically, I have no idea how it works. Only how to use it. lol

Just wanted to let everyone know that I felt the pinnings & repins were a compliment. After posting this thread I realized that maybe not all feel that way, but I felt honored by it.

I am more than honored when I find one of my quilts pinned on Pinterest. I usually can't help myself, and make a comment, at least to say "thank you", and of course I always "like" the pin ...tee hee ;)
You have a great Pinterest spot too! I spent way too much time and repinned a lot of pins. Thanks for steering me there!

I love pinterest.. second to the quilt board of course. I have done many of the crafts and recipes from it.

Here's my list of boards. I have several different quilting ones plus a sewing board for non quilt projects, a pillows board, and a crafts board. I do have a lot of duplicates because when I separated my sewing board into different boards, I didn't want to delete the original pins in case anyone else had them repinned and might lose the links.

I feel the same way Debbie! That is why, when I see one of my projects repinned I "like" it and usually make a comment, sometimes just a simple "thank you". I have repinned lots of things from this board, there is so much talent and inspiration here. If you send me a link to your boards, I'd love to follow you!
