Those have been around for quite a while. I don't know how well they work though, so can't help you there, hopefully someone here will be able to.

could save room in my sewing room ~ I cannot live without my serger, I sew clothing and pet items and home dec type stuffs as well as quilting :D

You are correct, it is only a 2 thread overlock stitch. Do you have any idea how much they sold for?

New Home is now Janome. Doubt they make it anymore unless is outside the U.S.

Some machines today do have the same capability and in fact was just discussed the other day. My Babylock Ellisimo has a sidecutter device which provides the same thing, a 2 stitch overlock. Not worth setting up if you have a serger, which I do.

No, not for me neither...I'd much prefer separate machines.

I do remember one being made by Janome, you could buy it here in Australai many years ago now
