I guess we will have to live with the higher prices if we want to continue quilting. Some time in the future they will price them selves to the point no one will buy much. I wish this economy would balance out so all can afford.

Me too.

I will still quilt, I will just use more of my stash.

I won't stop quilting but will stop buying, If we don't buy they will put it on sale to get rid of it. I also will plan quilting scrappys and still search swap shops for fabric.
Although there are some folks who may not know how it is to struggle with prices. Yes when food prices go up we still buy food but I can bet those of us on limited income start buying store brands and search the dented can section and buy day old goodies just to save a few bucks. It is hard to make ends meet sometimes.

yes I will, I paid much more for fabric when I was in Ak. and it did not stop me then and will not stop me now. where there is a will there is a way!

I will never stop quilting until I can't remember where my Bernina is. ANd cost of fabric???? It's gone up continually for the past 10 years and yet my closet is even fuller. I DO use much of it all the time.

I will use more of my stash but yes, I will still buy fabric.

If the cost goes up, I'm sure we will all just get even more resourceful about how and where we get fabric. To me, that's a big part of the fun of quilting. Think of our "quilting ancestors" who barely could feed their families, but could use any little piece of fabric to make beautiful clothes and quilts. I think the current situation might put us more in touch with their spirit. Now I wanna go watch "Little House on the Prairie..."
