I would wonder just what my dh was up too, like he lost his mind. I am totally into vintage machines and his knows it! So I don't think the Horizon would ever happen, but I certainly wouldn't object either! I got two Janome's and a another one wouldn't hurt my feelings.

Love him anyway!

Give him a big kiss!

LOL! That would be my thought but I would sure love to have Horizon!

Would certainly ask what he was up too Seriously my husband bought me my very first sewing machine for our first anniversary thirty years ago I thought he bought it for someone else I didn't sew

ME too!!
Seriously: He would have taken me to pick it out 'cause he doesn't know anything about sewing machines. He is very generous though.

i'd love it, but I don't have a hubby :)

momto5 11-24-2011 06:12 PM

ummmm...say "Thank you?????"

Essiescott 11-24-2011 06:26 PM

Mine never would do that, but would tell me to go get what I wanted, and he has. That is just as good in my book.

I would be VERY suspicious. Overblown generous gestures like this don't happen in our house!

You probably know your husband better than we do: does he do this kind of thing often?

If there is no obvious "ulterior motive", I would plug it in, lock the door, and just play and enjoy!

Happy Christmas!
