I know that one...I just finished a table runner for my best friend for Christmas and I swear that I sewed and resewed and resewed when I was completing the bias material for the binding....LOL

Welcome to the wonderful world of sewing. Wait until you assemble a tote bag, top stitch around the top with a decorative stitch and only then find out that you sewed the pockets to the wrong side of the lining - my seam ripper and I spent a LOT of time together that day. Am sure I won't do that again, but am equally sure I'll do something as silly in the future.

whew...nice to know I'm in such good company....just had that experience yesterday....and now finally I'm back, bonding with my sewing machine while I take breaks to read emails.....

One MUST have priorities!!!

Adive fron someone who has done this alot (and will probably do it again), walk away, take a breather, do something else for a few and then go back to it after awhile. Take your time with it and really look at what it is you need to get done. Try to approach it with a smile and you will laugh abvout it later.

As they say, "If it will be a funny story 20 years from now, why wait, start laughing now".
