I'm not sure you can control the positioning of the colors or prints in these quilts. The surprise of the finished product is what is exciting and attractive.
We did these at a loal shop recently and sent the tops to the Alabama group making qults for toronado folk. It was realy a fun day. |

It's actually quite cool looking...maybe not what you had in mind, but cool nonetheless. To me it has a contemporary feel.

Love it - they are fun to make and always a suprise at how they come out.

I'm making another one today. It will be from a Moda Flag Day Jelly roll. I think I'll sew the strips how they are layered in the roll and not try to plan. I'm doing this for the guild program and of course everyone is going to ask why this and that. I can say there is no why. LOL
