I actually like it a lot the way it is. I know that no matter how I put the strips together I always get same colors together bt I really do like the look of yours.

I really love the outcome. If I could just be sure mine would turn out like that........

Now if that isn't just like a human being! Always too short or too tall, too blond or too brunet, too straight or too curly, too thin or too fat, too tired or too energetic, always too something. Here you've got a lovely quilt that looks as if colors are simply blending into each other like a sunrise or sunset over the desert and it's too--what?
It is a great quilt! froggyintexas

Mine looks very similar to yours; you can see it here, about halfway down the page:

My jelly roll only had, if I remember correctly, 6 different fabrics. I think that is what creates the blocky-looking design. It seems to me that the people who are using Moda jelly rolls, which have a lot more variety, come up with something completely different. Not better, just different!! I'm going to add on some borders to mine to try and make it twin-sized.

Mine sort of did the same thing. I had two dark blues right smack dab together in the center of the quilt and it just bugged me to pieces so I got out the old worn out seam ripper, (my BFF), and ripped 'er apart and sewed that part on the other end. Then I noticed two more places where the fabrics seemed to bunch together and I thought I could be doing this until next week!! I left it alone, I like it the way it is, I'll put Minkee on the back and git er done!
