It must be going around. Ran out of bobbin myself!
|
I use the large cone threads and have a holder that sits on the back of my machine and it goes and goes. I can't wait until there is an endless bobbin. My friends also sew with a bobbin on top and bottom so she knows before she starts. Been there done that. One good thing is I keep three of those bobbin holders full of full bobbins, so I grab one and off I go again.

Julie R,
Thanks for my first laugh of the day. Quilter 68 (who is 69 and almost 70) |
If you could invent an attatchment that would do that, you would get rich quick!

Bobbin thread?? What bobbin thread?? There's suppose to be thread in the bobbin??
I wish I had a dollar for everytime that's happened. I could buy more fabric!!! |
Believe it or not, my Pfaff out of the 90's actually has a low bobbin light. Not on my Husqvarna, Kenmore or Singer. Even the see-through bobbin cover on my Husqvarna doesn't prevent the bobbin from running out of thread. Go figure..

Been there, done that!!!!!!

All pins were gone and rows not sewn together. What a bummer. I had to re-pin almost the entire row and start over. I sure wish I had a red light or something to warn me of the empty bobbin. So I just stopped went to Hancock for sewing machine oil and thread. Then back home to clean machine and fill the bobbin to begin again.
I guess I'm lucky I have a baby lock thats tells when the bobbin is low and shuts the michine down until you put a fresh one in.No longer running with-out bobbin for miles. |
