I bought an inexpensive embroidery machine and make my own. I also have EQ stitch so I can make custom labels easily. I made my signature into an embroider file.

I make my own with Word, either with Bubble Jet Set on fabric or with Printed Treasures. I love being able to put a picture of the recipient on the label!

I just bought some printed treasures and I am wondering once you print a label what happens to the rest of the sheet?
It seems like there is a lot of waste. It is very costly to waste that much.

Sewnsewer does mine, can't beat the price and such beautiful work too. She's so great to work with.

I print my own labels on fabric sheets, so far just text. You can cut off the part used, and print something else on the rest of the sheet.

I want to try the method from QB where you use the alphabet on your machine to print your name and date on the binding.

I print a label on a quarter of the sheet, then the next time I want to print I'll tape that sheet to a sheet of paper and print on the other side of the quarter-sheet, then do the same with the half-sheet that's left.

I've read that only pigment based ink can be used, the rest will wash out or fade over time, and so far Kodak printer ink is the only pigment based ink. Has anyone had any problems with the ink fading?
