I make my own quilt label's from a light colored material. But after reading some other messages. I may check out sewnsewer2, also. Sent a message to a member, asking for info, about sewsewer2.

Hand embrouider. The label matches the quilt or the recipient.

You can purchase labels in a pre-printed panel at fabric stores or your favorite LQS. They usually have at least 10-12 on each panel and have room for additional information to be added to customize to the person you are gifting. I am sure they are also online at fabric websites but I have never looked for them in that manner.

I have bought them in the past , but now that I have an embroidery machine I make mine. Last week my youngest grand daughter, told me she misses the little made by grandma tags. Not sure if that's saying I've gone over board with the tags I make or the little tags are what she remembers most...

I make my own with the EQ printables. I prefer the peel off plastic backing to the Printed Treasures paper backing.

I have also used the preprinted ones, but I actually used those for a memory quilt vs as a true label.

I make my own with a fabric that I had originally bought to be backing. They are 6 x 9 inches. I need lots of room to write all that I want to convey. I know they are not fancy, but I only need to put the information on them.

I print my labels. The fabric I use is called Printed Treasures. In addition to the basic information, I include clip art that goes with the theme of the quilt. For example, the quilt I am binding now has golf themed fabric. I am calling the quilt "Tee Time" and will have a picture of a golfer swinging at a ball on the label.

That's what I do too.
