i would consider this intermediate, with an understanding of piecing, applique and paper piecing. if you take it one block at a time and carefully follow the instructions and be very patient you should be able to accomplish it. just go slowly . by the time you finish it, you'll have learned a lot and you'll have a beautiful quilt to show for it. dive in. if you have problems or questions along the way, the board is here help you out. |
it looks to intense for me good luck if you makeit show us a picture when you are done,
i dont paper piece maybe thats why |
Jeanne, that's so true! I tried a block of Dresden Star which is quite a project. All through it I was told it was way above my expertise and you know...it came out beautiful and I told them what you just said! How can I get the expertise if I don't try!

My DD made this quilt for her friend who helped her through RCIA to join the Catholic Church. It came out beautiful.

DD said the blocks need extra on the edges as tiny pieces fray out. I would start with one that has the least number of pieces.

The pattern looks very complicated to me. But you know your skills, so give it a try. Make a block or two before cutting all of the quilt.
