I want to thank all for the advertising of Velcro. I worked for them back in the 70's and 80's. Wonderful company to work for and great product.

Mine are attached with velcro and a few inches out have a zipper so I can unzip it, baste the backing on and zip it back on. The velcro'd portion stays on the poles. It's great.

Same here. It's easy to put the leaders on and off with the velcro. Good luck!

Mine are attached with duct tape - so far so good. But I would like to find that industrial velcro - where do I find that at ?
I am also thinking that I am going to purchase the set of zippers you sew on your leaders and then you sew them on your quilt top and back....and then ZIP....your quilt is loaded !!! I have just spent the last SEVERAL HOURS pinning a quilt on ....and re-pinning.....and pinning....... I think I am ready to quilt now. I really needed to get 2 quilts quilted today....but....(sigh).....I am running out of steam. Wish me luck ! |
I used "gorilla" tape on my old one. You can find gorilla tape near the duct tape at wal-mart.

Now I see my post.

I use packing tape but I like the velco idea.
