If you don't have two scraps left to leave in a dark closet, ebay's a good source (as others have suggested). When I started out and was building my stash I purchased several lots of fabric that were mostly fat quarters and smaller and was able to quickly build up plenty to use for scrappy projects. I did end up having to wash most of them, as quite a few smelled either of cigarette smoke or heavy perfume.

Just wanted to tell all .That a very nice thing was done to me.Today I got a package in the mail full of scrapes from BJ..She wanted nothing for them..Just wanted me to pay forward..Which I do and gladly plan to continue..I had ask a question about finding scrapes for my hex quilt ..as I had already made many quilts of hexes my scrapes were low..I put a picture on here of my last one..I think it said hand made hex quilt in the title ..many gave me ideas where to look..But BJ WENT that next step..Such a nice thing to do it made my day..and many more to come..People can be so nice on this site .With all the help..
