Try it on your iron. You'd be amazed at how it picks up every little bit of dirt!!

I love using this to clean my iron. I have bought the iron off product and don't care for the smoke I always end up getting when I put it on a hot iron with a damp cloth. I have tried some of the other tips but I like Magic Eraser best.

I use these for cleaning my iron, too. Just so simple and fast! Also use the
ones made for bathroom cleaning that suds up and have a nice clean scent. Leaves the tub shining.

Haven't seen the mop for floors yet but will sure be looking for them. Thanks.

I had an email recently that had a HUGE list of uses. If I can find it I will post here.

Thanks for the idea! I never would have thought of it!

I use Mr Clean Magic Eraser - either that brand or other brands - to clean my iron. It works great and so economical. My iron has a shiny sole plate however. Has anyone tried it on the teflon like coated sole plates?

I am going to look for this. Would be a great help. Old back doesn't always want to get down on the floor!

I love this hint and I'm going to go and try it right now. I cleaned the bottom of the iron with the paste and still there is something left on it that made ironing my DH shirt today difficult. I be the Magic Eraser can get that off, great idea.

Our local dollar type store sells them in multiples.

I wouldn't. Magic erasers are abrasive - that's why they take things off - You should have seen my teak dining room table after I tried to remove permanent marker from it. Needed to be re-oiled after that! Teflon is a thin, rather easily damaged coating - which is why we never use abrasive utensils with telfon coated pots. I don't think that's a good combination.

I may have to try it.
