Awe, so sweet! God Bless him!

What a nice heart felt story. You sound like a loving Mom and your son sounds like a very loving son. God bless him for his service. My dh is retired Air Force.

I bet you started a new quilt!!! Love the story and I thank your son for serving his country!

That is wonderful! I didn't think they would let them take something like that with. Glad to hear they do. My oldest grandson left in July for basic training. We are planning on going to see him graduate.
Thank your son for me for serving! God Bless Him and the rest of the troops! |
Thank him for his service for our freedom, God bless you as his Mom.the quilt
I'm sure was a blessing to him. |
Oh, I would have been bawling my eyes out. What a great mature quality you raised your son with. I would make him another longer wider one. This would cover him up. The original would more than likely be wrapped up in a tight hug next to his chest or wrapped around his pillow to lay his head on. Our soldiers need all the 'home support' they can get. Please thank him for his courage and dedication.

I am sitting here with tears streaming down my face. What a lovely story. Like everyone else, please thank him for his service and protection for our wonderful country. May god keep him safe from harm and back to his families loving arms. You raised a wonderful son.

How heartwarming! Thank him for his service to his country. Please let us see a picture of the finished quilt when you make it.

As a military mom of 2, I can relate to your story! It made me cry. My question is, how long did it take you to start sewing on his second quilt? I'm guessing about 5 minutes!
