Never let it be said that I let anything beat me, but this nearly did. Two went out the window. This was mainly due to the embroidery as I was trying out a new machine. However I had a rest from it and then tried again and here is the result. I will send it tomorrow....

Thank you all for your comments, that machine was what they called an A Grade and I got it for 400 Pounds less than the going price which is 1,200 Pounds. Sory don´t know $ price. It had been fully refurbished and serviced and delivery was free to Spain UPS, They said it had be bought and returned as now wanted, refurbished for sale again. Couldn´believe it. Got it from Ebay. Brother Innovis 1200. I am very pleased with it. :D :D Really recommend the shop if anyone is interested.

I only realized after I read the full thread that this was a request put in back before Christmas.!!!! I made a block today. Am I too late? I hope not!!!

Never to late, I've been embroidering on the ones that didn't put anything on their blocks. I've put the name, the sign on name (when I had it) and the town/state it came from. I cry a lot, they are each and every one so beautiful. I have two to finish the embroidery on and then I'm going to pin them together and take pictures.

If I tell you that the few minutes I've had to embroider at night or early mornings has kept me sane, you won't really believe me, but it's so very true. The last few months have been some of the hardest of my life but some of the most rewarding in that I still have him with me.

Even if I get the quilt put together sometime soon, I'd love to quilt some shams to go with it, wouldn't that be gorgeous? So uplifting for me!
