I use mine for paper-piecing and it I love it. No burned fingers and no trying to fit a big iron on the tiny seams. It has a thermostat and set on high, it was always hot enough for anything I needed. Get a Joanne 50 off coupon and you're set. I may like it but don't think it's worth 30 bucks.

I found a little travel iron at a flea market and paid about $3.00 for it. It has steam and the handle folds down. A friend wanted one too, and I found her one for about the same price at Good Will. I take mine with me when I go to my daughter's home along with my June Taylor Cut&Press, and they have come in handy many times when I've been there for my projects, and also things I need to press for her. Now I'm watching GW for another one as a back up. I'd like to have one to put in my rolling tote with my sewing machine.

These mini irons are expensive and I wish I had never bought either one of them. The long handled one isn't worth the time it takes to use it.

I have two different l=mini irons and I don't use either one...not sure why. They work fine.

My sis was hemming her daughter's prom dress and accidentally tossed the front of the dress over the little iron. It only stayed a second or two, but the dress had to be replaced.

My small Conair iron that looks like an iron (I posted a picture of it) is the best one I have ever found. It gets plenty hot and does a terrific job on seams and applique. Even great using the steam. I wouldn't trade it for 5 Clover irons.

I use a craft iron by clover for hot fix crystals. Those little mini-irons are worthless.
