Who listens to music while crafting
I love to turn on the Ipod to my Christian music.
I have a Bose dock in my "sewing" (family) room. |
I use my ipod any time I do anything...housework, sewing, cooking, reading...
Me!! I need the back round noise!! I have a Bose wave / CD unit in my sewing room, love it!
Yep!!! I do, I do!!! I listen to rock of all forms. Gets me motivated. If designing then most likely soft rock, but sewing give me upbeat rock!
I like books on disc. I can't tune in my radio in the dining room/studio. If not a book then classical music.
I have a stereo in my sewing room and play cds. I listen to classic rock.
I have to have music. Unfortunately I can't get any radio signal in my sewing room because our house is mostly underground. I have a CD player but it only holds one CD. One day I am going to upgrade to a multi-CD changer.
Rock and roll is my preference although I like some of all kinds. |
I listen to Il Divo, Josh groban, Gordon Lightfoot & Michael Buble. :-D
I listen to my iPod set on random. My taste is eclectic so I have lots of variety--classic rock (dating myself, I grew up on this), jazz, bluegrass, classic, reggae... I keep the remote control next to me so if the music doesn't suit the mood, I simply forward to the next song.
Mostly the radio is set to a local Christian station, next would be country and then classic rock.
This reminds me, I need to move the radio/cd player into my sewing room...
I have special section on my MP3 player with my son playing piano..everything from "Eensy Weensy Spider" when he was 4 up to Schumann ,Bach, and Clementi now that he's 9. I listen to that or football when it's in season.
I love Yanni when i FMQ. The tempo is just perfect for me.
yes i do. easy listining. i received a years subscription to www.pandora.com for Christmas. It plays through the computer. Can select the type of music you want and it will find and play that genre of music. It is great.
Always music for me all kinds.
Sometimes... Sometimes I just enjoy the quiet. But when it is music, my tastes are pretty varied too. Anything from smooth jazz to Broadway to classical to Rock/Pop/Soul. Even a little country from time to time.
Any kind of music...just need it in the background. I will admit to being partial to Neal Diamond and Willie Nelson...lol.

Oh I have to have something on while I'm sewing....Just depends on what I'm in the mood for....Usually one of the music channels that come with Dish Satellite......or CMT
San |
Pop,Rock,Country(not the bluegrass country), Especially Kid Rock.
I almost always have music going when I'm working. Usually Celtic or classic country.
Depending on what time of the day, sometimes it is Biblical teachings on local radio or national radio. Inbetween, I love listening to a favorite CD called Jerusalem Arise, by Paul Wilbur. Awesome music to quilt by and most relaxing too.
Blessings, Sandi |

I mostly listen to movies.
I listen to books on CD's.
I have a CD player that hold 61 cd that hold all kinds of music. Country, easy listening, Elvis, Rock and Roll. etc

I do all th time, my iPod is docked in my sewing room, and i have my songs in different groups based on my mood, when piecing I like easy listening, especially for hard blocks. When quilting, especially for FMQ, I like to jam to loosen up,lol.
I have a portable radio/CD player on my sewing table, listen to Country and top 40.

I love silence...we have 4 grandsons alot and get our fair share of noise. When I am sewing, silence is golden but, if there is music or tv I want it to be very low and soft
Sometimes I need it silent and I love that time. When I quilt, it's music with a heavy beatlike Lady GaGa, when I piece it's anything on the ipod or podcasts. Lots of 80's. country, stuff like Queen and Delbert.
I do. I sometimes have my radio playing Positive Life Radio, or my favorite song writer/ dear friend , Dennis Jernigan , playing on my CD player..
Listening to music is so relaxing and allows me to forget everything else but the quilting. I play the type of music that goes with the quilt, Josh Grobin, 5th Dimension, Phil Collins, Christian. Helps clear the mind and makes the quilt blocks fly by. :)
Ahhh... Yanni, I forgot Yanni, love his soothing music!
I love the movie phamtom of the opera. The music is phenomenal. I seem to listen to this movie over and over and over again. Look up occiasionally but listen mostly.
