I think it is fine as it is. What is the name of the pattern and of the angel/fairy fabric and where did you get it?
The dark blue predominates. Its tone is darker than the others
In the background of the lady notice there are light aqua and turquoise colors. Try a batik with those colors. Happy quilting Severna |
I wouldn't change a thing! It's gorgeous as is!!
I would take the white and cut up the girl fabric and use that in it's place.
I like it the way it is. What's the pattern?
I love it especially how you framed the picture of the fairy in it
It looks more than right to me! Beautiful!

Dont change ANYTHING. I love it!
Lovely block. I like it the way it is. Beautiful fabrics.
That is gorgeous. Wouldn't change a thing. Can't wait to see whole quilt.

I agree with Dorothy, I think I might try switching the purples. The darker seems to be taking over the center motif and I don't think you want that. And I also might like the lighter green all over. Love the pattern.
I would not change it love the colors, what pattern is it
I like your block the way it is .
Ditto-leave it alone-don't mess with perfection! Lovely colors-you have a great eye for them.
I agree that you should leave it like it is. Great Quilt. Can't wait to see the finished quilt.
I think it is perfect the way it is, especially after seeing the blocks together.

I'm sure that whatever you decide will be beautiful. |
The bottom triangle should be dark to ground the flower girl. In flower arranging they teach to put the darker flowers at the bottom and work up to the lighter. See what you think.

Like some of the others, I wonder what it would look like switching the placements of the 2 purples. I haven't noticed that anyone has suggested repeating the dark purple in the white space and I wonder what that would do. I think it's that very light piece that's giving you trouble. I love your block and your colors--other than the stark white one. Where did you find your angel piece? Very nice.
I would reverse the two purples. Just a thought.
I would not change a thing .Cut a center block before you make any changes and then decide what you think. It is beautiful ,love your color choices and fabric.
I like it! Such pretty colors.
I would go with a very light lilac in the center. Just a hint of the color. It is a very beautiful block that you made.
I love it and I want the pattern please. Can you give me a link to where I could find it?
Take the green out & put in a shade of purple, as there is no green in the block any place.
Looks good. May I suggest maybe a golden color for the middle? like the color of the hair maybe. I'm new, but that's what felt.
Its beautiful - I wouldn't change, but you are the one who has to love it!
My vote is for as is. Beautiful!
IMHO I like it just the way it is. It's beautiful.

Assuming that the white is going to be set in the middle, making four blocks, you'll end up with a rather large white center. I feel that this will distract from the lovely colors that you've used in the rest of the block. Try switching the white to a less stark color--soft lavender or teal, for example.
It's going to be great when finished. Sandy |
I think it is perfect just as it is. Wouldn't change a thing!

I think that it is perfect the way it is. It is a beautiful block.

I like the way it looks now. I think the green would take away from the angel which is focus of square.
I think it is striking as is
I really like it |
