[quote=feffertim]I am suffering from quiltitus, I am a great starter but bad finisher, I suspect many quilters have this disease[/quote)
It,s in head and arms right? ;) it happens especially when i am playing and want to experiance a new pattern but when i like it a lot i will go to the end
Just concetrate is it work or fun? hope u feel well soon

steelecg 01-13-2011 04:05 AM

I do

so-sew 01-13-2011 04:13 AM

I hope it isn't terminal! ....because I've got it bad! Especially anything larger than a throw because it doesn't take long for my creative mind to wander. I'm down to fabrics that don't coordinate or are just plain "uggs" in my stash. That need to make a trip to the fabric store for new fabric for new projects helps keep me on task.

Yep, I resemble all of this, too.

what a great way to start the day with a good laugh I can relate to everything you wrote and I to am spending to much time on this board when I should be quilting but I would miss out on all the wonderful things everyone is talking aboutand there are so many great suggestions

I have all of the first group. Sigh! Currently have 5 quilt tops to quilt and keep cutting out new ones to start. I also have a long arm and truly that is my favorite part, but I still see new patterns or new fabric collections I have to have and then spend an inordinate amount of time planning which pattern to go with which fabric. And, I am not retired yet. I wake in the middle of the night planning a project. This has got to stop.

It is habit forming.
Have several projects started but when I get on the computer with this group everything stops :-)

I am a sufferer as well. Isn't there some sort of 12 step program for us?
