I don't have this one shown. I have the FW75 66 stitches computerized.

This one shown here does not impress me at all from the look of it.

I'll take a computerized machine over a treadle or foot pedal one any day.

Wow... that is a total disappointment. I was hoping they would make something that looked like the antiques, even if it was plastic... I think it's very unattractive.

Like clsurz, I have the Model 75 computerized Featherweight, and it's a wonderful machine. Sorry to say I can't give any kudos to my Quantum L-500, which is a huge disappointment also.

This little machine is a workhorse and amazingly the only thing plastic on it is the case. Everything else is metal.

This is the same Featherweight that you have that the Singer engineers finally got right just rebodied to fit the anniversary. But if you look closely and think about the 222K then you will pick up on a few other neat innovations. I have seen the estimated production figures and they are really low, and this machine will be hand built at the Singer plant and not subbed out so the quality will be outstanding. I love this machine because it is user friendly and is also handicap friendly so it does not discriminate folks that have problems with their hands and are unable to use other machines.

Say what you want but I will be dropping the $1200 for a pair and loving every minute of it.

I see it has a free arm, looks like it may have speed control so there is no need for a foot pedal. Which Singer plant; Taiwan or China? If they are keeping production numbers low they are doing themselves a favor. I'm sorry, Billy. I know you like it and if you can spare the scratch to buy them as an investment, good for you. I'm sticking with my original reaction.

I have a friend that works for Singer in the Corporate offices and he told me that it was rumored to be assembled in the USA but he said that was just what was floating around the offices. It has not even gone into full production yet from what I understand. It will be at the ISMACS convention and hopefully there will be a representative from the company that can answer the questions and fill us in more.

Definitely different. I think I'd like to see it up close and personal, but I, too, am inclined to spend my $$ on an original.

I really like the RAF decals being used again on the machine also!

I think it is "cute" looking but don't plan on buying one. The true blue FW does me just fine.

Billy I am thrilled you are going to buy (2) and then from time to time you can show us your investment.
