Welcome from Wisconsin, where it was -31 when the sun came up this morning. And a bit breezy. All schools closed.
We used to walk to school in this kind of weather, 5 miles, up hill both ways. LOL (Actually, I lived only 2 miles from school.) Anyway, a good "stay home and sew" day! |
Where in NC do you live nanacarolyn. I live in Rockingham and was just wondering if you were close to me.

Welcome from California. Since you've been "peeking in" for quite some time, I know you realize that this Board is a wealth of information. The other people have helped me innumerable times. No question too big, too small or too stupid. I can tell you I certainly appreciate the support.

Glad your here, welcome from Oregon. I just started quilting with my regular machine last year. Found out that just getting past that first couple of quilts helped unblock the process. Leah Day is a free form quilter, although she uses a regular sewing machine, she still opens a huge world of creative quilting. Please show us what you decide.

Call on your son (if you have one, or a daughter); that is what I have done. My LA (Gammill Classic, about 5 years old) has me thoroughly intimidated, and gets worse every time I feel like I might set to and do a quilt by myself.
Welcome to this board; you're going to love us, warts and all..... |
