My aunt, my uncles second wife owned a long arm quilting business, she pieced quilts and also took in quilt tops to quilt. She taught me to piece quilts in 1968, 43 years.

Probably about 18 months.... which is a baby in quilting terms really! Need loads of help and advice!

I started quilting for ten years. And have loved every day of it,

I made my first true quilt pillow in 1980, a Mexican Star. I made odd quilted pieces and projects between then and 2008 when I began to quilt weekly, daily, and dream quilts when driving, shopping reading and .... sleeping.
