yes it was heat and bond and is quite heavy through the cottages. for future quilts what should i use to fuse all those pieces? |
Walking foot sounds good with matching thread in maybe a medium purple or you could
try your hand at hand quilting it. It's a small enough project to try . Just my 2 cents. By the way , your quilt is gorgeous!! |
Very nice applique. keep at it and you will soon be a pro and teaching us little tricks. I love your top.

You've done a wonderful job

Oh i just love it

What a charming little quilt. No matter how you quilt it, it will be super.

Your quilt is very cute. I think stitch in the ditch and echo quilting would be perfect. If you aren't exactly sure what those are, either search the board for more information or go to YouTube and search them out. You can find a lot of information there. Also, you might want to check out Leah Day as she has an ongoing project for this year that involves learning to stipple for all over quilting.

I think you are doing a great job. I know what it's like living in the mountains and not having too much around you. Be glad you have the internet. That is how I taught myself to quilt, including free motion quilting. Just relax and enjoy what you're doing.

I also can not instruct you on how to quilt your top. I just wanted to say i LOVE IT! I would live the pattern where did you get it?
