If you bleed on a quilt (or anything else) your own saliva will break up the blood. So spit on it immediately.

She is a very deep thinker. At the moment she is working out the yardage for our next quilt.

To keep your seam ripper handy, tape a ballpoint pen cap to your sewing machine!

My advise is only quilt when you're in the mood. If you try to rush then mistakes happen. Really enjoy your project from cutting to top quilting.
