I have a Pfaff 7510 bought in 97. The computer board went out 2 years ago and after many problems, 2 months and $200 I finally got it back. Now the same thing has happened and am told it will cost $300 and who knows how long. Has anyone else had problems. We want to contact the company but cannot find a number. We have e-mailed but have not gotten a response. Even the dealer said the board should not go out in 2 years. any help would be appreciated.

Did you try 1-800-99-Pfaff ? I would call them and ask them how you get to "talk" to a person about your problem.
Can the dealer who helped you two years ago help you know ? |

good luck, keep me updated. My dealer does not normally give you an answer for several weeks before you even get to know what the prognosis is.

My Pfaff 7570 had to have the board replaced after 2 years.
The dealer said that was just one of those things. Cost about $150. No other problems in the last 4 years. I use it all the time. SandyGail |
How frustrating. I would get a second opnion.

Biggest problem with the older pfaff's, (I have a 7570) is that Pfaff no longer supports these machines. Somewhere around 2000, Pfaff was bought out by another company who destroyed all the old replacement parts. Motherboards are getting harder and harder to find as you have to find them thru other sources since you can't get them from Pfaff. Try ebay. If (when) my pfaff goes out, I would probaby buy a Babylock Quest Plus as it is darn close to the original pfaffs. Good luck!
