I too don't know how to resize pictures, I did try. After many dissapointments trying to post I noticed something on my Cannon digital camera. I can select the size of the pictures I take. The camera takes high pixil photos but I can, and do, select smaller pix. Now I can post pictures easily.

I use Microsoft Paint to re-size my pics so I don't know if I'm an offender or not. Would it be possible to let the offenders know their pics are too large and need to be resized?

If you have a picture program like Microsoft there is an edit button just click on it find to resize. Resize save it presto you are done. I usually make a copy of my picture first then resize.

For a person of age (79) and who has macular degeneration, the larger pictures are nicer. The smaller ones I can hardly see, and, I do like the ones that enlarge when one clicks on them.... Sorry for those who have no broadband hookups, but there are many reasons things are like they are. God bless all who share and who provide this space for sharing. It is my contact with the outside world of quilters, and I do so appreciate all I have.

I agree with your comments! My most recent cell phone came with no directions as to how to add, delete contacts or how to use a camera phone (my first). I am not happy with it at all. Not everyone is a techie and I resent the lack of clear directions on my few technical toys. As for sending pictures of my quilts, forget it!

I can't even work out how to post pictures. I went to the help page then posting a picture but I can't find "insert image" icon on top of the message box. Maybe someone can PM me with some directions please.

Thanks for the reminder!:)

This is especially problematic if some posts multiple large pictures, these take so long to load that i just click away from the page which is very frustrating.
Thanks for putting out this reminder :) |
Although I do mine myself with the many programs that I have on my computer, here's a website that can help those that don't know how to re size their picture on their own computers.
It's fairly simple, just upload you file and it will walk you thought the process. It's the simplest one that I could find. http://webresizer.com/ |
