Funny question in a way! I was 35 when I started quilting; I'm now 75. How old was your husband when he started on a hobby of his, or does he have anything to occupy his mind except to pick on you???? It's not how old your are now; it's when did you fall in love with quilting! 'Nuf said.'

Love it! That's what I always say.....I'm not getting older, just the kids are growing up! 53 is nothing! My mother is 95; now THAT'S something!

kathdavis 04-28-2011 06:53 PM

I'm 52 and my husband gives me a hard time about hanging with the old ladies. I say, "Better than hanging with the old men."

Paisleyc 04-28-2011 06:54 PM

Tell your hubby to take a hike!!
Your question brought 56 pages of replies. I don't care how old anyone is as long as they like what they are doing. Having fun doing it. And not hurting anyone while they do it.

He must be feeling old or otherwise he would not put you down to make himself feel better.

He only feels old because his sugar is high. If he was "smart" he would keep it in check, and then he would not feel old.
