I am 52 and my husband supports me very much, the only one's that say I "hang" out with old ladies are my two children, but what do they know, they are 19 & 16.

Just like M.I.Late, I too let my mind take over for now. I feel like 30, but I'm really going to be 58.
I just started quilting 2 years ago, but now I wish I had started a long time ago. I love it! And I love this board. Stephanie |

I promise not to share your age (he, he) but with the few thousand on our board. I am 44. You are? 59....but geez, age is just a number. Old lady my you-know-what!!!! |
I have always heard if a woman tells her age, she will tell anything. So just let me say, I am as old as my tongue and a little older than my teeth. LOL

53!

Yeah what is up with the quilters and old ladies things. My daughter teases me that I am old cause I like to quilt. I pointed out to her that there are quilters younger than me yet. However, I am 40.

I have been sewing forever as 4-H member what girl didnt learn to sew since I was 8 or 9 and next week I will turn 49. But I have only been quilting for 7 or so years but my son started quilting when he was 9 and he is only 15 now but high school activities (football, wrestling, track, band, danceline, FFA, 4H) are getting in his way of sewing. I noticed that there other boys that started at age 9 but my son would say where could I meet girls and they were eager to help me finish my quilt.

I guess i'm one of the old ladies , I'm 74 and can thread a needle on the first jab.

Am 72 and enjoying every minute of it. I would NOT trade places with the young ones today as I grew up in the very best of times (the 50s). We had so much to look forward to and so much to do and enjoy -- I honestly don't think todays kids have a clue. Started quilting when I was 70 but had always done sewing and crocheting. YES, I am an Old Lady and hope to be around (and quilting) for many years to come!

Oh, gosh - don't you "young-uns" start bragging now about how "old" you are. No one can stop aging - not even men!
I'll be 79 in June and retired, of course. Dodee |
I just now know what i'm doing, just can't remember it.
