I have not been a regular here for very long and still consider myself a "beginner" in many areas of quilting, even thought I have been quilting for 10 years. I have started a few new topics with questions I needed help with. Once I stopped, used the bathroom and came back and had 3 responses!! So many quilters with different levels of experience and wonderful suggestions. I always feel you can learn from anyone, no matter how much experience you have.

If you're worried about asking a question that's already been asked, just do a search first. But I thought that's what this was for . . . asking questions.

I consider myself an intermediate quilter, and I ask more questions than my 5 year old GS. Don't hesitate, we are all friends here, and we have all been where you are now.

I have learned that "The only dumb question is" The one you don't ask. Hope this makes you feel better.

This is a wonderful site to ask ANY question. Everyone is so helpful and generous with their knowledge & you have almost instant replies.

i had a teacher once say "the only dumb question is the one NOT asked". so ask away.

We're all new at it in some way. There is always something new to learn, no matter how long we've been quilting. I have sewed since I was 5, have made everything from recovering a lazy boy recliner, to making wedding gowns. But I am still learning things about quilting. There are no dumb questions; feel free to ask anything here. We're all friends.
