I would not rip anything out. I think your quilt is simply adorable.

Very cute! I would leave it as is.
That is too adorable! Yours is much better than mine is! DO NOT RIP! It's a baby quilt. They by definition endure amazing abuse and washing and are rarely laying flat to be critiqued.
granted, the closeups could use some improvement. but the distant shots look just fine... your puppy is so cute.
It's fine, a very cute design and well done. Close examination will always reveal irregularities but the baby will never notice.
Your quilt is very cute. I love applique but never had any luck with the satin stitch. Now I use the blanket stitch and like it much better.
I think it looks very good. don't touch it! Great Job!

Super cute! I'd leave it. It's barely noticeable.
For future reference: (1) If you didn't window your fusible webbing, make sure to do that. It was the biggest reason why I'd get those bubbles. Windowing means cutting away the middle of the webbing so you just have 1/4" to 1/2" of fusible around the edge of the applique shape. Pat Sloan demos it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r_m84NtcyUk (2) A tear-away paper stabilizer will help prevent the tiny puckers from forming around the outside of the stitching I also make sure to pre-wash everything & limit how much starch I use as sizing/starch can affect how evenly the fusible bonds. That said, it is still a beautiful quilt. I wouldn't go over the applique stitching any more. Once the whole thing is quilted, the focus will be on the quilting & the cute little dog, not on the tiny imperfections we all have in our quilts. :) |
Leave it...it's really sweet.
No I would definately not rip it out. The baby will love the quilt and puppy and not complain..
