Oh my yes, everyday I seem to rip out so mistake, some times I also feel like I'm losing it too. :o You are not alone!!

My ripper is always handy. Need to use it often. Like Mary Mo, I have re-sewn the seam the same way and have to rip it out again. The one that happens most often is putting the right side to the wrong side of the fabric. I would scream but husband is sleeping. lol

Sharon,
yes, even with my long arm there are spots I dont like, I have rippers everywhere, I like the teeny ones,
I can hold them well, I dont like the Fons n Porter one, its too heavy for me, and I seem to drop it all the time.
I rip as good (if not better) as i sew.

I've just taken up quilting and ripping reminds me of a knitting term. I don't rip out, I frog. Rippit rippit rippit, lol.I'm beginning to wonder if I am going to have to put some fabric tape on my seams they have been frogged so much,

I teach a beginner's quilter class and on the first night I show them the various seam ripper options out there and make them say - "A seam ripper is my best friend"
